The Queen of Hearts

“Tell me, what is it you plan to do
with your one wild and precious life?”

'When it's over, I want to say: all my lifeI was a bride married to amazement. I was the bridegroom, taking the world into my arms."

Part ii:

It's been so difficult for me to feel inspired recently. Between personal failures and feeling like my work was never going to improve, it was such a refreshing change to spend my day with my dear friend Juliette. We woke up early and spent the morning floating about an abandoned mall. There was such an eerie feeling to the place, but we explored every crevice and climbed to the top of the roof where the wind tangled our hair and we forgot about the worries of the days to come.

I had such a lovely time working with these three ladies! We met up one afternoon with a brand new team, and worked with six brilliant vintage pieces from Bel Fiore Bridal. We played music in the background while we shot, and there was a fireplace that left the room with a soft ethereal glow.

Oakland Cemetery was one of the most breathtakingly beautiful areas we had seen in a while. There were thousands of pale tombstones with intricate designs and stories of the lives that accompanied them. Dozens of weeping willows lined our walking way, and we were stunned by the stunning upkeep of the entire graveyard. Some tomb rooms were left open, and we took that chance to explore the bewitched rooms filled with crimson and maroon stained glass. We wandered around the graveyard for as long as we could, and we dropped flowers on the floors for the ghosts that accompanied us in these beautifully broken places.
